THE JOURNEY
Welcome to the slow path of walking in deep relationship with the medicine wheel and many of its teachings.
The Cardinal directions are central to almost all indigenous teachings. One can not truly start to understand an indigenous way of life without knowing and living these.
These are not just "directions" on a map. Each direction has an intelligence and beingness and is approached as each containing its own cosmovision and environment. We will approach the directions as a framework to build sacred relationships with:
Plant: heart medicine (cacao), prayer (tobacco), corn (the creation of the world), synthesis (fern)
Animals : Guardians of the directions
Crystal & Rock Language: grounding, activation, shielding
Elementals : water, earth, fire, wind
Rather than a "do this meditation and find your spirit animal" experience, or ingest vast quantities of mushrooms, or pick our favorite rose quartz this will be an invitation into developing a slow and mutual intimacy with the all the kingdoms, that sit in the medicine wheel.
Learning this will help you to access and receive the support of different directional medicines to assist your evolution, your spiritual practice, and your daily life in ways that are both practical and expansive.
By slowing things down we will take the time to ask, receive, integrate and practice how to Build Sacred Relationships with the other kingdoms that inhabit this planet, A global community, and also with yourself.

SACRED RELATING
Indigenous teachings and culture have no separation between humans and nature.
Instead it is believed that we are able to evolve our spirits by learning from the kingdoms of the natural world, as we walk our paths of evolution and awakening.
Humanity has strayed too deeply into separation, thinking that we are different, disconnected from all that is.
And we are seeing the consequences of this in our environment, and also within ourselves.
What I have seen over and over within the circles I teach in, is that although many people desire deeper relationships with natural alliances, we enter our spiritual practices carrying a model of extractive or transactional relationships.
Animals, plants, rocks...they are not just things, that we use, that we look at, that we tattoo on our bodies, but that we do not understand how to have mutuality with.
They are beings. That we listen to. That we can learn from. That deserve our RESPECT.
It is a FOUNDATIONAL aspect of indigenous spiritual practice (from many different woven traditions) to develop a RESPECTFUL, CONSENSUAL, and RECIPROCAL relationship with all the elements of nature.
This initial 18 month program of Building Sacred Relationships will support you in changing how you are in relationship with the non-human kingdoms that we coexist with on this planet.

LIVECIRCLES
MARCH 9th 2024- SEPTEMBER 2025
When you join Building Sacred Relationships, you will have will have multiple LIVE ZOOM circle opportunities to support your path over the 18 months
CIRCLES FALL ON THE SATURDAY USA.
A minimum of 2 circles are held every month and recorded for those who can not attend LIVE for 12 months. After that we will meet every 1x every month for the 6 months for workshops on how to build medicine circle, rattles, and more. You have access to Moon Circles throughout the program and they are highly recommended you join LIVE if possible.
MEDICINE WHEEL : We will begin all seasons with a teaching session LIVE where we will go over the kingdoms that create each CARDINAL direction and learn who we will be building sacred relationships with over the next 3 months
MAYAN CALENDAR : Finding your Nagual is one of the many steps of how to connect to Mesoamerican cosmology. This insight much like "astrology" allows you to find your makeup in this world. Did you know modern human design is based on indigenous cosmology?! We will approach your design as one in relation to the all not from a singular western perspective.
MOON CIRCLES: These live sessions will meet on each Full and New Moon, and include a platica (teaching), a uniquely themed meditation to support you in the unique energy of the specific moon, and a sharing/witnessing circle.
BUILDING SACRED RELATIONSHIP WORKSHOPS : These will be opportunities to connect deeper and work on projects. You will build Taponi's, create altars, create directional biospheres and more. Part of the journey will be to find your own materials. A list will be provided, as well as some direction when it comes to sourcing the plant medicine for this circle (we will be using cacao & atolli from Cuatro Manos Y Cinco Volcanes Farms and fern medicine is available via Path of IX).
