SACRED RELATING
Indigenous teachings and culture have no separation between humans and nature.
Instead it is believed that we are able to evolve our spirits by learning from the kingdoms of the natural world, as we walk our paths of evolution and awakening.
Humanity has strayed too deeply into separation, thinking that we are different, disconnected from all that is.
And we are seeing the consequences of this in our environment, and also within ourselves.
What I have seen over and over within the circles I teach in, is that although many people desire deeper relationships with natural alliances, we enter our spiritual practices carrying a model of extractive or transactional relationships.
Animals, plants, rocks...they are not just things, that we use, that we look at, that we tattoo on our bodies, but that we do not understand how to have mutuality with.
They are beings. That we listen to. That we can learn from. That deserve our RESPECT.
It is a FOUNDATIONAL aspect of indigenous spiritual practice (from many different woven traditions) to develop a RESPECTFUL, CONSENSUAL, and RECIPROCAL relationship with all the elements of nature.
This initial 9 month program of Building Sacred Relationships will support you in changing how you are in relationship with 3 of the non-human kingdoms that we coexist with on this planet.

Welcome to Building Sacred Relationships, the first level of our Jaguar Circle
This circle focuses on the central thing taught at the Path of IX, relationship. We focus on 3 kingdoms and take 3 months to explore each. We will ask 3 questions or explore three main aspects of knowledge or memory held by each kingdom:
Plant: heart medicine (cacao), prayer (tobacco), corn (the creation of the world)
Animals : Healing the mother wound, boundaries and community, somatic release
Crystal Language: grounding, activation, shielding
Rather than a "do this meditation and find your spirit animal" experience, or ingest vast quantities of mushrooms, or pick our favorite rose quartz this will be an invitation into developing a slow and mutual intimacy with the all the kingdoms.
Learning this will help you to access and receive the support of different animal medicines to assist your evolution, your spiritual practice, and your daily life in ways that are both practical and expansive.
By slowing things down we will take the time to ask, receive, integrate and practice how to Build Sacred Relationships with the other kingdoms that inhabit this planet, A global community, and also with yourself.

The teachings in Way of the Feather (self paced THINKIFIC class) are an essential introduction to entering Path of IX circles with an understanding that you are entering a different cultural context.
In these circles, we come from many different ways, which means to truly learn we need to challenge the cognitive biases and cultural norms that have us entering with specific expectations of what cultural exchange, teaching, and even a loving practice looks like.
In this series, we share how to have respect, how to give credit, and how to give back as they are practiced within our circles.

JANUARY 2023- SEPTEMBER 2023
When you join Building Sacred Relationships, you will have will have multiple LIVE ZOOM circle opportunities to support your path over the nine months.
MOST CIRCLES FALL ON THE WEEKENDS (SATURDAY, USA).
A minimum of 4 circles are held every month and recorded for those who can not attend LIVE.
BUILDING SACRED RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE PATH OF IX : This once per month live session will be focused on teaching about building sacred relationships with the kingdom we are working with.
MOON CIRCLES: These live sessions will meet on each Full and New Moon, and include a platica (teaching), a uniquely themed meditation to support you in the unique energy of the specific moon, and a sharing/witnessing circle.
RADICAL SELF LOVE COMMUNITY SERIES: These once per month live sessions will tie back into the sacred relationships taught in the teaching circle earlier in the month. They are a great way to connect, ask questions and dive deeper into building relationships in an open share and question/answer format. (SATURDAY, USA)
As always a % of all proceeds from classes go back to the community of teachers and elders who have supported and taught me, and to working with the land in a good way.
